A Young Person's Guide to Stress and Emotional Management

As part of Royston Stress Centre, the Youth Stress Centre offers an outreach service to 11–18 year olds in North Glasgow, and has put together a group of valuable film resources to help empower young people in improving their mental health. The message of this film is that early intervention and prevention initiatives can work to reduce the risk(s) that might lead to mental ill health.

The film explores young people's experiences of a range of issues that are common in young people's lives, including anger management; exam pressure at school; racism, and peer pressure to try drugs.

A Young Person's Guide To Stress and Emotional Management helps to identify that helping young people to recognise and develop important emotional tools and capabilities can enable them to better deal with life.
