'Like Me, Only Better' is a short animated film which covers issues for people suffering from Obsessive Compulsive Disorders.
The value of this film stems from its exploration of the inner and outer worlds of the main character, and underlines the frustration in everyday situations that often occurs for those with OCD. In particular the main character, Clive, attempts to balance his Catholic upbringing and his childhood imagination. By making sense of underlying emotional issues, Clive endeavours to overcome adult phobias and compulsions.
The film also broaches medical treatments of OCD, and the perception of these from a service user's point of view. A valuable film for those with experience of dealing with Obsessive Compulsive Disorder.
