Proof That I Am Here

Conceived between the Young Person's Programme Coordinator at Moray Art Centre, the Young Person's Mental Health Social Worker at Moray Council, and a local filmmaker alongside seven local young people, this short film expresses pertinent themes and social issues surrounding mental health amongst young people.

Visual Art is a vehicle for this purpose. These seven young people, all of whom have personal experiences of mental ill health, did not know one another before the making of this film.

Nicknamed a 'hyper cut' by those involved with the making of the film, the aim was to suggest the way we see images 'flash' through our minds in the form of memories or dreams that are loosely bound together.
