'Seen and Heard - Voices of Experience' interviews four men from diverse ethnic backgrounds. Each individual speaks candidly about their experiences of mental health, and the relationship between mental health and life as an ethnic minority citizen in Scottish community. Each person in the film has their own lived experience of mental health. The importance of a sense of belonging in the community in which you live, especially if you are from an ethnic minority group, is raised as a common theme. Subtle racism; people's preconceptions about ethnic minority groups; subsequent mental health issues, and access to treatment are discussed by recalling lived experiences of mental health issues.
